This wonderfully pure Côtes du Rhône is biodynamically farmed and uses Carignan and Cinsault to zing up the Grenache and Syrah, and Mourvedre to add stuffing. Very complex balance of dark and red fruit and spice. Try this with a slow cooked bean and meat stew. Plenty of spice and earth are coated with sweet fruit. Blackberries and raspberries are in abundance, with some pepper. In the mouth it is rich and unctuous. Bright fruit with good acidity balance out this dark red wine. Bottled unfiltered to preserve everything that nature offered. More tension and grit, combined with deeper fruit take this wine to a new level.
